1. Corfu Trail
Length: 220 km (can be done in sections)
Difficulty: Moderate to challenging
Description: The Corfu Trail is the most famous and extensive hike on the island. It stretches from the southern tip to the northern tip of the island, passing through a mix of landscapes, including charming villages, lush olive groves, and rugged hills. You can do the trail in sections or challenge yourself with the full journey. Popular sections include the southern route to Lefkimmi and the northern stretch to Kassiopi.
Highlights: Beautiful coastal views, traditional villages, ancient ruins, and Mediterranean landscapes.
2. Mount Pantokrator
Height: 906 meters (the highest point on the island)
Difficulty: Moderate
Description: A hike to the top of Mount Pantokrator offers panoramic views over Corfu, the Ionian Sea, and even Albania on clear days. The hike can be done from Korakiana, Kassiopi, or Mparmpati. The summit is home to a small monastery, and there’s a paved road to the top for those who want to drive, but hiking up gives you a more rewarding experience.
Highlights: 360-degree views, the monastery at the top, and a chance to explore Corfu’s highest peak.
3. Paleokastritsa to Angelokastro
Length: 7 km (round trip)
Difficulty: Moderate
Description: This hike takes you from the picturesque village of Paleokastritsa up to the ancient fortress of Angelokastro, one of the island’s most significant archaeological sites. The hike involves a bit of a steep climb, but the views are worth it, especially once you reach the castle and enjoy its panoramic vistas.

4. Lefkimmi to Lake Korission
Length: 5-6 km
Difficulty: Easy to moderate
Description: This relatively easy hike takes you from Lefkimmi in the south to the beautiful Lake Korission, a natural lagoon that’s home to many bird species. The hike follows a peaceful path through sand dunes, pine forests, and farmland, offering scenic views of the surrounding area.

5. Kassiopi to Avlaki
Length: 3 km (one way)
Difficulty: Easy to moderate
Description: This relatively short hike takes you from the charming town of Kassiopi along the coast to the peaceful Avlaki Bay. The trail follows a scenic route through olive groves, with views of the sea and the Albanian coastline. Avlaki Bay is known for its calm waters and beautiful beach.

6. Perithia to Mount Pantokrator
Length: 5-6 km
Difficulty: Moderate
Description: Starting from the ancient village of Perithia, this hike takes you uphill towards the summit of Mount Pantokrator. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional stone houses and lush vegetation, with stunning views of the northern coast and the rest of the island.

7. Kanoni to Mouse Island
Length: 2-3 km (round trip)
Difficulty: Easy
Description: This is a short and easy hike that takes you from the famous Kanoni viewpoint to Mouse Island (Pontikonisi). While it’s not a challenging hike, the path offers a lovely stroll with views of the island’s most iconic landmarks, including the Vlacherna Monastery.

8. Nissaki to Agni Bay

9. The Village of Ano Korakiana to the Olive Groves
Length: 6-8 km

Description: Starting from the village of Ano Korakiana, this hike takes you through peaceful olive groves and lush countryside. The route offers a glimpse into rural life on Corfu, with its quiet, winding paths and scenic vistas.

10. Gouvia to Kontokali
Length: 4-5 km
